Bolswards Tribute Newspaper has some breaking sportnews: In Switzerland Olaf van Damme ended 7th in the Monta Rosa Tour. A tour known by their mountains and wonderful view during the stages. A short summary of this tour:
Stage 1 was a prologue. And Olaf van Damme suprised with a 4th place. In the 2nd stage there were high expectations. It was a hilly stage, the terrain of hillspecialist Van Damme. But because of the though headwind and the lack of a great teammate in this stage Van Damme lost some precious time (12th). In the King stage with the high mountains Van Damme suprised again. He didn't lose that much time and ended 11th. Stage 4 was also a stage full with mountains, but this mountains were just a little bit easier to ride. With a 5th place in this stage it was clear Van Damme would be top 10 in the GC. The last stage ended in a sprint. And because of his attentive riding in the sprint (10th) he climbed even one spot at the GC: 7th!!
This ranking in this tour is another peak in the short history of team Sprintje bergop.

Congrats on your teams fine top10 finish. That is a very good result because there was a lot of excellent climbers entered. :-)
